The beauty of a walk-in closets is that they are quite often very spacious and offer a great opportunity to store a number of household items in addition to clothing apparel, as was the case with these two side-by-side walk in closets. Many times we use our walk-in closets as a place to store anything and everything we collect over the years and as time passes by, we become less and less sure of what is actually stored in these closets. Over time, these spaces are infrequently accessed and precious and useful items are "lost" among the clutter.

Emptying out both walk-in closets, allowed us to really see what was being stored in these spaces and to be able to determine if the family even had a need for some of the items placed in these walk-ins. Often, once thought to be very important or useful items, lose their significance or usefulness over time. By placing likes with likes and disposing of items no longer needed/wanted, the spaces in each of these closets were now "useable" and easy to navigate.
