Many times, rooms in our homes already have ample storage possibilities. We just need to figure out how we want to use a particular room (and who will be using it). Once this "vision" is in place, it makes it very easy to decide what should stay, what should go, and what is the best system for storing and retrieving our possessions. This basement was just such an example. |

With plenty of wall units around the perimeter of the basement, we were able to sort items, get them off the floor, into clear containers, and up on shelves where they could be grouped together and easily accessed. In addition, we recycled many of the extra cardboard boxes that no longer served a purpose and ultimately freed up a lot of space so the basement could be utilized in the fashion the family originally intended. Lastly, as can be seen in the last photo set, this client was confident that she could finish up the last few boxes under the tables on her own, as she now has a solid understanding of the steps to take in organizing an area! |
