This walk-in closet was very narrow and did not provide much room to see items stored in there, much less retrieve them. Shoes on the floor added yet another obstacle to getting to the great shelving and built-in dresser at the back of the closet. |

By removing the shoes from the closet and using an over-the-door shoe rack, we were able to provide direct access to the back of the closet. In addition, deciding to use the back shelves to store items that were previously hung up, allowed us to hang only those items that absolutely needed to be hung up on hooks, rather than a closet rod. This approach allowed for complete access to all areas of the closet, not just the front two feet. |
