Getting a Grip
Patty Clair of keeping it simple was in charge of the Ronald McDonald House of Cleveland's "Day of Organization."
I asked her to give readers a few easy tips to help us become more organized in our daily lives.
They are . . . how can we say this . . . nice and simple.
To stop clutter from building up over time:
- Deal with items as they come into your home and asses if you really need the item to stay.
- If you decide you do need to keep the item, store similar items in one place .
- Store the items in places that reflect their usage and frequency of usage.
- If an item is no longer used or needed, broken or outdated, consider letting it go.
